Hi,
Usually i am using BRT SS2. Now doing some test and trying to understand OpenRail.
I created complex geometry and now would like to delete one element inside geometry.
so let say that i got two straights and curve between. I would like to delete just curve and leave straights to create different connection.
Is there any way to do it?

There are different ways to do it. One is to drop the complex and to other elements then, create the complex again.
Another one is to use "delete vertex" to remove the curve from the complex. Then you can create a curve to be part of the complex. When placing the curve take care of the prompt that tells you to do ALT to pick from a complex.
.
Hi Jean-Pierre,
1. Training file from Learning path
first solution is working well. Second solution is working partially as using ALT i am not able to pick first and second element.
2. I got file with imported geometry from ALG. In this file i got Horisontal and Vertical from aLG and cant and corridor done in ORD. In this case none of this solution works.
Any ideas?
also my question is - why tools for geometry removal ar in Drawing TAB - is not logical for me
Also i found that when i am importing geometry from ALG curve is described in report properly but on the draing is a polyline not curve .
Why?
So when i am deleting vertex is deleting only small part of curve - one vertex from polyline. Tricky :)
So something went wrong in the import or you imported in a 3D which is not advised
i did it again and now is ok. But....
have no idea why it looks like there aretwo lines - one is a polyline - second is fine
but as i said - now looks well
Thanks for help
