ORD 10.05.00.30 - Turnouts annotation in plan and profile

I also have this issue and am looking for a solution. 
The turnout tools are not very advanced at the moment, and the turnout annotation text favourites in the rail example workspace are not showing how they are derived when interrogated like the others do. 

In addition, the annotation of the turnout real point P1 or 0.1 in previous BRT release is not supported. My annotations only ever annotate the Theoretical P1 or 0.1 for some reason.

thanks for confirmation. I am still using SS2 in my work and did not try SS4 so now a lot of things are new for me.

it worries me more did i cannot find it more than it is exists. I hope Bentley will improve this software.

Hi,

i did some test and hope is only about my lack of knowledge but....

No problem to import points and they are in OpenRail Model tab as regression points but they are not presented on drawing

To present them i added circle to annotation of Regression point definition. Why ? because without this you are not able to sort them. Circles are presented but slew: text is not.

Second thing is that after use of Sort Horisontal Points command they are changing to line which i can use for regression but best thing that this command removes points !!! so anyway cannot present slews

JPLN - if you know full workflow how to get slews and regression points plwase be so kind and share with us

You've all seen that there still have some lacks with regression. It must improve and it will.

Supported workflow that gives best result

• import points: use feature definition "Regression Points" to allow annotation
• sort point: gives the existing (regression line)
• single regression to create elements (dynamic slew value annotation + point annotation + reports to show slews)
  to my point of view dynamic slew annotation not very helpful - need the sorted line+slew value
• complex (slew annotation + reports)

Alternative workflow:

• convert form rails: doesn't create points so no annotation
• same workflow than above but with no annotation
  workaround is to report the existing (result from convert rails) as XYZ to reimport and sort and go back to previous workflow
