As said, When I set the turnout, after select the orientation, it always stop working.
How could I deal with this problem?
I notice you are working in a 3D model. If it is true while designing alignments, corridors, turnouts then it is really something to avoid.I don't know if it is the reason for the crash but I would first test following the strongly advised workflow.
Work in a file created from a 2D file. Let OpenRail creates and manages the 3D model. Most of the time undisplay 3D model reference in the 2D model
Did you successfully place a turnout in the past ?
Since 3 weeks I have the same issue.. I never had the problem before. I tried to uninstall and reinstall ORD, but that didn't help.
When I run the program as a locat administrator the place turnout routine works perfectly, but as a regular user the program keeps crashing.
That gives me the impression it has something to do with read or write permissions to a certain folder.
BTW: I also used the SDK recentliy to write some code, but this code did only read alignment data in the design (no turnout data).
Maybe a corrupt last used settings file. Check and remove (you will just looks last commands settings) file or files here:
%localappdata%\Bentley\OpenRailDesigner\10.0.0_1\prefs\civil_commands
I uninstalled ORD, and removed all files in %localappdata%\Bentley\OpenRailDesigner,, C:\Program Files\Bentley\OpenRail Designer CONNECT Edition and C:\ProgramData\Bentley\OpenRail Designer CE. Then I reinstalled ORD again.
Now it works perfectly again.
Thanks.
