I am learning OpenRail ConceptStation software. May I Know, How to create Viaduct with piers along the road median in OpenRail ConceptStation? Thanks in advance.

Do you want to do something like that ?
Thank you sir, In fact I was looking to run elevated rail corridor along the road median. Is there any way or tool in the software? Thanks.
Probably not a simple workflow especially if you design the existing road in OpenRail ConceptStation. it means you must have a superimposed alignment for the track. Then piers foot must be adjusted manually to be on the road level, not the existing.
Hi;In ConceptStation a viaduct is designed same as a bridge. So you can think this as creating a really long bridge section. The problem with your workflow is to combine road with rail template. In this case workaround can be to create two overlapping corridors, one is elevated for the rail and one is at the ground elevation. Ground elevation one uses a road template and elevated one uses rail. Then you can apply bridge to the elevated corridor. If your median width is accurate the piers should fall on to the space between road platforms. This is not a typical workflow so I would advise to first try this with a shorter section and then apply to the whole project.
Thank you.
