Hi Forum
In OpenRail Designer (10.08.00.88) - how do i view the theoretical points and the last long sleeper in the alignment file, when a turnout is created i ORLD? I'm thinking feature symbology in the turnout or annotation group, but how/where to set this up correctly? And is there a way to show the fill shape for turnouts, like in SS2 (pic below)?

points annotation are setup in the annotation group. If you use the delivered configuration you should be able to annotate and check what is set in the turnout annotation group. I can't remember when theoretical .1 is became available. I think it is not in 2019-R2
LLS is not available today as it was in Rail Track. The sleeper parameters are used to place sleepers but sleepers are always placed perpendicular to main track. So it is not as it should be and does not give the exact location and orientation of the LLS. So you have to place it manually. You can rule it to turnout by using Civil Accudraw and Delta Station mode. Not that easy but with a bit of practice it is possible.
Enhancement requests created for both.
Today you must create a region to fill the area. Need manual adjustment if turnout is changing: move the dissemination point and the line from .2 to .3 depending on how you created it (persist snap doesn't work if you snap the annotation such as .2 symbol)
Thank you, Jean-Pierre!
If turnout are not bent we can also use a cell to get more details (unlimited) on the turnouts. The cell can be used in the annotation group.
As said, limitation in using a cell is bending. The cell is not polymorphic.
