Hi,
Strange things happened with my 3D Cel but it seems the data is there in wireframe mode.
When created a Geometry point with a 2D and a 3D representation the cel looks weird in 3D when using Smooth or Illustration mode. (see red boxes)
When placing the cell directly from the same library it seems ok, (See green boxes)
Any Idea how to fix this?
It was working with a previous version of OpenRail Designer, now i'm using 2020 R3 Update 9
I experienced this when using cells that are made of smartsolids. Edit the cell and drop elements that are not displayed correctly.
Hmm it seems I only can drop the cell to Surfaces and that's not solution, so i don't know how to fix this?
Do you know if there is a change / BUG Request filled in for this?
And why did it worked in the first place with a previous version of OpenRail So the only thing I can imagine now is that it would come due the introduction of the new MicroStation Engine???
Maybe try converting your cell parts to mesh?
The problem with a mesh is that it will loose it's colors and intelligence

Yes create a SR so that we can track, link to a defect if one exists, and notice you when it is fixed.
