Hi,
Is it possible to view more than the alignment in the profile view generate by the named boundaries feature? I want to be able to see the elements in the corridor that it cuts through and other references (mesh etc.).
If there is any workaround or an actual way of doing this it would be greatly appreciated.
Thankyou! :)
Hi Jake,
Attach 3D elements in Default-3D view as reference and use Create 3D Cut in profile view. It will display all 3D elements intersecting the plan element.

Hi, thanks for the quick response. I just have another quick question, are you aware of any way to change the depth of this profile cut do you know?
I know how to look forward or back, but can't remember how to adjust the depth (will look around).
1.
To turn on forward or back, go to the 3d model reference in the profile view and navigate to Presentation:
2.
Toggle on Forward or Back in Clip Volume Settings and click OK. Now Refresh your 3d Cut using the (last) View Control icon.

There is also a "Cut Offset" property of the Profile 3d Cut you can use to get cuts through the geometry at a distance, so technically you could have multiple 3d cuts at different offsets from the alignment.
Note that only display elements in the 3d model will display (although adjustable in the Profile cut 3d reference level display).
