Hello there.
I am using OpenRoads Designer 2021 R1.
I would like to create cross sections per 20 m in St. 2+005, 2+025, 2+045, 2+065 etc. so I set my Named Boundary dialog like this:
But even though the first cross section is cut at St. 2+005, the rest are cut at even stations 2+020, 2+040, 2+060 etc.
In the old software I would toggle off a station lock, but I cannot find that in ORD.
Where do I tell the software to cut at 20 m intervals counting from the first station?
This setting is available using configuration variable: CIVIL_DEFAULT_STATION_LOCK
Civil Variables (bentley.com)
So search variables in search ribbon (configuration variables) and look for this variable you can edit.
Unfortunately there is an issue with named boundaries: Defect 1142144:Create Cross Sections Named Boundaries does not honor the station lock variable
The workflow for now is to create Geometry points at interval along the alignment, select all the points and create an event point list from the selection set.
Then create named boundaries using the event points list.

Thanks JP.
I hope it will be solved in the next release then. :-)
Unfortunately, the Defect has not been solved in 2021 R2.
