Annotating Turnout Item Types

Hello

I have been working today on trying to recreate the functionality of the Network Rail Extensions from PRT - a UK railway localization product add-in/variable.

I have created my turnout definition in my Feature Definition, associated it with Feature Symbiology and Annotation Groups for Plan and Profile.

I have also created item types and associated picklists for my Turnouts within my Feature Definitions DGNLIB and attached this with my Turnout Feature Definition.

Within my Plan Annotation Group, I have an Annotation Definition that points at a user defined Text Favorite "Turnout Points Number", which points at the Item Type I have created for Turnout Asset Information - points number.

I have set up this annotation group to annotate at the toe of the points, however the Turnout annotation when placed in "Element Annotation" does not seem to work with Turnouts for some reason. 

I have had success doing this with Plan Annotation for Line Designation - where I can pick my line name from an item type picklist and it annotates the line name in plan - however this is for plan geometry and not turnouts.

Does turnout annotation work with Turnout Item Types currently? Am I trying to get ORLD to do something it cant manage at the moment? 

If not - does anyone have any suggestions how to ensure this annotation can take place?
