I am having issues with measurements when creating rails. I have an alignment file that I have brought into my model that includes cant. I have checked my design file settings for the inside edge distance and rail centre to rail centre distance too. I have it set currently at 1435mm inside edge and centre to centre it is 1450mm. However, when I do model the rail strings the distance between the inside edge rail 1485mm and the centre rail to centre rail is 1500mm. Why is this happening?
Probably because the cant alignment doesn't have the good settings and it is what is being used to create rails, not the design file settings.
