Snap to an intersection point in Bentley Power Rail

i prepared a grid of lines and i wanted to place the profile inside the grids since the alignments are all short segments for a station yard with a small length and i want to have some kind of order for my review. so what happened was in the past i was using Bentley rail track in AutoCAD platform and since it has snaps AutoCAD function, i can properly place my profile in the greed but now i started using power rail track and this function is not active. so i would appreciate it if some one can give me a solution on how to do this. thank you

  • it is almost the same with Power Rail Track. If you wan to insert your profile at a defined location, you can use Accusnap that gives you all snaps like in AutoCAD (object snap). BUT You must know that Power Rail Track is not using the "auto" snap whatever the setting is on the Accusnap toolbar. PRT is using  "On demand" snap. It means you have to select the snap method on the toolbar then use CTRL+SHIFT to activate the snap when you want to use it. Another method is to use the tentative point. A typical and useful MicroStation  way of selecting points (simultaneous left+right mouse click).
