Hi Community,
I'm attempting to add some common envolop-profiles as vehicles to the Vehicle Library, but found it a bit tricky to follow the Vehicle Library Editor. Has anyone some written materials or videoklips for how it could be done?
Any advices are welcome.
Kind regards,
LiPeng, Denmark
Hi Peng, the best way is to edit the Swept Envelope Vehicle.xml file. If you want I can send some examples. Maybe you find a tram in the file you can use.

Hi,
you may have a look at this content. There is a DGN to explain what must be done.

Hi Gunnar (good to see you hear) and JPLN,
Thank you for your reply and the zip-file sent by JPLN!
I'm able to follow the "Online Help" and add a new vehicle. It will show up in "Vehicle List" with one section on the "Vehicle Library Editor". But after I pressed <Apply> on the "Vehicle Library Editor" I can't see my newly added vehicle on the dialogbox "Swept Envolop Analysis". (I went to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\Bentley Rail Track V8.11\Data\metric" and examine the "Swept Envelope Vehicles.XML" file, and it does not look like it has been updated - from size and modification date). So how do I add new information in the file without manually edit it?
Regards,
I found a document which you can use. If you need some movies, please let me know
Thanks again and I got it to work with just one profile. The next thing I'm doing is to try a whole vehicle set for testing the "Curve widening" etc. The easiest way was as Gunnar mentioned - editing the xml-file.
