I'm having issues creating a custom vehicle and have not found any thread helpful on this matter. I've followed the instructions to create the control points but I cannot create a section I drew a shape in the model and it says successful completion but it does not go to the xml.

Looking through it that is what I had set up, vertical shapes and points along the 0 z axis. I have an issue with having Rail Track take the shape and record it as a section.
I worked with Swept Path some times ago and found it easier to editing the xml-file for vehicle definitions directly. Once you found out the logic regarding the sections, distance between Bogies and Sections, then it is fairly straight forward. Good Luck!
