Will the new OpenRail have a proper way of displaying rails/sleepers as intelligent track entities ? Will the designer be able to select the type of rail and sleeper and define ballast dimensions instead of doing CAD work as it does now?
Hi. The cant is defined relative to the centerline of the rail and not running edge. For normal gauge the distance between the two reference points defining the cant should be 1500 mm. See EN 13848-1 - 4.4 Cross level.
