The new release of the STAAD SSDD application now better designed for interop with the new CONNECT Edition of STAAD.Pro.
This new release provides steel design according to the much awaited 2017 edition of Chinese design code GB 50017 which has finally been formally published as well as significant updates on GB 51022-2015, the technical code for gabled framed light-weight steel building.
Additionally, there is a new report style and support of profile databases based on SQLite as used in STAAD.Pro CONNECT Edition.
Also note that this version also addresses a number of reported defects discovered in the earlier releases of SSDD which all in all makes this a recommended update for all SSDD users..
