Bentley has acquired the ADINA business and will take over responsibility for all Products developed by ADINA R & D, inc. The colleagues of ADINA R&D, Inc have joined Bentley and Dr. Klaus-Jürgen Bathe, is working with Bentley as an advisor to facilitate a smooth transition and to support integration and enhancement of ADINA’s products.

If you have a current support agreement with ADINA R&D, you are now a Bentley customer.
Bentley will support, enhance, and continue to sell ADINA products under the ADINA brand. Continue to use existing ADINA support channels until notified otherwise.
Dr. Bathe will be taking an advisory role with Bentley to facilitate the integration and enhancement of ADINA products with an emphasis towards infrastructure engineering requirements.
In addition to the traditional stream of ADINA product releases, there will be new ADINA products tailored to infrastructure engineering. ADINA technology will be included in products in Bentley’s Structural, Offshore, Piping and Bridge product lines in time.
ADINA products will continue to be enhanced. New product releases will be licensed using Bentley’s Subscription Entitlement Service (SES) system. Existing users will be contacted with instructions for moving to SES-licensed ADINA products when those releases become available.

Once the Bentley licensing is implemented, ADINA products will be made available through all Bentley commercial channels inclusive of perpetual licensing, Virtuosity practitioner licensing, and Enterprise agreements.
