Parents
  • The ticket # 7001230933 was already issued 2/4/21 and in update at 4/6/21 it was admitted that the issues still persists. Also before issuing the ticket mesh options were already tried in numerous manner along with other approaches.

This issue was reported regularly starting from the 1st STAAD Connect Edition, and from 1st to latest Editions it's getting better. But practically it works more or less reliable for very regular shapes and not for complex shapes unfortunately.

Also panel loading in STAAD physical works only of you creating panels one by one. If you have even for small size building more than fifty panels per floor level, to create them, then assigning the loading edges, and then redistribute the pressure loads will be extremely tedious and time consuming task. In RAM Elements similar task was resolved long ago with creating multiple panels options and assigning load distribution in skewed angle. Please see the ticket  #7001230938. I also post this issue in "IDEAS".

  • Sorry. There is a correction. The ticket #7001230933 was issued 4/2/21
