I use a lot of Chinese sections in most of my projects. In section wizrd, in structural steel section selection, the Chinese section is NOT available. Do we have any way to insert/add/link entire Chinese section database in section wizard? Thank you.
The databases in the Section Wizard are stored in the PRF files which are hard coded. To the best of my knowledge, you cannot add sections into these databases or insert a new database.
Do we have any option to solve?
1. Send an add-in program ( to unlock all codes) to run along with my StaadPro (for my company only
or 2. Send a formal request from the user to Bentley to update

As far as I know, the Section wizard will be integrated with SPC's Property Calculation Engine in the nearest future. I do not have much details on this, but I believe that once this will be done, much more sections should be available in the Section Wizard. Chinese sections might be included as well.
