It has been retired shortly. Instead of that you can use STAAD Advanced concrete designer popularly known as RCDC for concrete design.

RE: Frustrating design failure results in RC Designer

same experience here,, any help out there??

RE: Frustrating design failure results in RC Designer

Thank you for your soon response and sorry for my late response. I downloaded your test file and made a run and went through the design steps. But before I ran the RC designer I got a warning and 2 notes in the analysis output file (I don't know if you got these). I however assumed you ignored the warning and notes and proceeded to the RC designer but still got the anchorage error.

I zipped the files generated after receiving the anchorage error for your model.

Thanks for your concern, looking forward to hearing from you.

RE: Frustrating design failure results in RC Designer

Since you mentioned that you encounter this error with any model you run, we did a test using the simplest of models - a simply supported beam with a uniform load with all data being in metric units. The RC designer mode produces a design that seems reasonable and consistent with the results obtained by designing the same member in the batch mode of design. And the message you reported did not appear.

If you can ZIP all the files for that project and upload it, I can look into it. I would also suggest you check the units of the input, such as strength of concrete an steel, clear cover, beam cross section size, etc.

I am attaching the model that I tried. Can you check if this produces the messages you described?

I will in the meanwhile try with more robust models and see if I encounter the same problem as you did.
