The version number that I see in the screenshot 05.xx is not correct as STAAD Foundation Advanced would start with 06.xx. If the version number is incorrect, the license will not work. As Seth mentioned, please check it back. The software should automatically check out the license if needed ( recent versions do not even require a check out ). Installing SFA ver 07.01.00.00 is definitely recommended.

Thanks Seth,
I only tried the checkout after the application failed to find a license on its own. I can check it again on Monday. The engineer reported that it initially found a license, but that it was failing to run analysis after the ISM install. I will take another look on Monday, and if it still fails I can log a service request to have the issue looked at.

I can't see how installing or not installing the Structural Synchronizer (aka ISM) could have any effect on STAAD Foundation Advanced finding a license. I think you just have too old a version number checked out. Check it back in and try again. The program should check out what it needs automatically, but if you are going to manually check out, use the same version as the software being used. I would recommend using SFA v7 regardless, however.
