I am designing a vierendeel gireder type foot bridge, in which i made end members of deck pass in combined action with help of introducing moment release. but i did choose % of moment release on d basis of trial and error in analysis of this structure. I know this is not valid justification.
Can anyone help me how to find out the amount (%) of release in moments (MPZ, etc.) ?. what is the procedure?
