URGENT Assistance on STAAD Pro Model, Improving improper connectivity

Question

Hello Fellow STAAD Users, 
 
 I am in urgent need of some assistance on my STAAD Pro Model. I am working on a model that is very large, and it has many beam and plate elements. I am trying to design a structure that will withstand an increased vacuum pressure. As the model sits now, I have beams failing at a factor of almost 5, which is very large and inaccurate. The model is producing a result that will only allow for a very small vacuum and in reality the structure is operating at a much higher pressure. I offset my beams and oriented them as dictated by design drawings. I believe that there are some issues with the beam/plate connectivity. Can anyone help me solve my issue or explain to me how I can eliminate improperly connected beams and plates. This is extremely critical and I would appreciate help ASAP.

Under the "Tools" menu, you can use - "Check Improperly Connected Plates" and "Check Beam Plate Connectivity". Also perform the "Check for Warped Plates". Hope these tools will help you to detect the issues.

These modeling issues do not have any quick-fix or automated tool. The best way is to refer the list created by the tools (as you have already done), and fix them one by one. Select one plate element, delete it and recreate it as per the rules and guidelines as per section 1.6.1 of the Technical Reference Manual.

Wondering how you created this model? Was it using STAAD's Graphical tools, or using some other software followed by importing into STAAD? 
 
I ask this because if this is created using another software, repairing it might be easier within that software's environment. Some of the entities in this model such as plate 24544 have not been meshed due to which there are several small elements that are connected to a point that lies on one of the edges of this large element. There is perhaps a way to select those nodes and ask that this large element be meshed considering those points as control points. That will straightaway resolve the improper connection between 24544 and all those smaller elements. 
 
Once the connectivity between the elements is resolved, it should be less difficult to fix the problems involving connection between members and elements. You could re-build the physical members from the segments using the tool Geometry-Merge Selected Members followed by segmenting them at the right points using Break Beams at Selected Nodes.
