While installing staad pro v8i ss6, I encountered the following error:

In this situation, I recommend you to uninstall existing installations of STAAD.Pro , STAAD.Foundation, Bentley OPENSTAAD OEM (control Panel->Program and Features->Uninstall program) and install the package again.Regards,BM
I uninstalled everything with staad pro library, SPro V8i SS6 folder, pipelink also. Now i reinstalled it but there is no folder named SPro V8i SS6. And it is displaying error 1603 for pipelink. There is no staad installation folder generated. So i cant find STAADUI. tlb file.
Can u please help me with this??
Which STAAD.Pro version are you trying to install? I would recommend you installing the most recent STAAD.Pro CONNECT Edition version 22.06.00.138.

Should I uninstall that or not?
And after uninstalling that app, should i delete all the backupfiles?
I uninstalled backup files before, which is why i am getting problems.
And also If I download the new version, will the same problems arise?
Uninstall STAAD.Pro, PipeLink and StrucLink (if such exist) from Programs and Features in Windows. Then download and install the most recent STAAD.Pro CE version 22.06.00.138. It can be downloaded from here: https://softwaredownloads.bentley.com/en/ProductDetails/1562
Uninstallation should remove any unnecessary files, so usually there is no need to delete something manually.
