Analysis is only considering beam self weight for a few beams in my model

Question

Beams and columns are only taking into account their self weight for analysis. Why? I have checked, deleted and remodeled the deck, slab edges and applied loads, yet only a small section of my beams (which are framed into a shear wall) are not being analyzed properly..

Thank you for your quick response. I discovered the beams were framing into the shearwall group, where there was an issue with the beam framing into the slab opening. I resolved the problem. I believe the overhang for the opening was not long enough.

In STAAD.pro, the self-weight load is assigned to a member list selected by the user. Try re-assigning the self weight loading to ALL. In the help, section "5.32.9.1 Selfweight Load" has some details. Otherwise reply back with the problematic file and details on the version you are using.
