Why does using 5000 psi concrete strength for a beam design give you a reduced spacing (22.6") shear reinforcement as opposed to using 4000 psi concrete strength (24")? See attached model.Beam (20x 42).zip
If you look closely at the section audit for a section from each case and compare them side by side it's a little easier to tell what is most significant. Below is a table of just a few lines from the audit to help you, ultimately is a small change in Vc that matters:
