I had a new installation of Staad.Offshore (version 03.00.01.02), AutoPIPE (version 09.06.02.06) and Staad.Pro (version 20.07.10.66).I have my autopipe model imported into Staad.Pro and I was trying to export the frame through pipelink but an error popped up. It said: Unable to cast STAAD.Pro COM object to OpenSTAAD object. Check if OpenSTAADUI.tlb type library file is properly registered.When I click ok, the typical Pipelink for staad pro V8i (v 20.14.4.22) poped up but it did not have the exchange file name in the field. When i tried to manually enter the exchange file path, an error pop up: No STAAD filename is provided. Unable to connect to STAAD.Pro instance. Check if STAAD.Pro application is running.I am aware that there is a wiki article that mentions the method to overcome this. I have tried it but it didnt work. When I entered the command in the command prompt, a warning/error pop up saying to check compatibility with x86/64 bit issue.Please advise way forward.
