How to convert Vertical DL to Lateral Loads (x & z directions) with a factor

HI,

How to convert Vertical DL to Lateral Loads (x & z directions) with a factor.  In my shipping/transportation load condition, I need to combine: Equipment dead weight with 0.3 lateral loads of dead weight in 2 directions x & z.

    You can use Notional Load which you can derive into vertical load from lateral load.
