The model I've created is comprised solely of steel joists spanning between a combination of CMU walls (type: other) and steel W beams. When I create my joists and run the steel beam module, some joists show up as various joist sizes (10K1, 12K1, etc). Other joists, however, are noted as "Label only. Not checked for adequacy for capacity or deflection."
These "label only joists" cannot be assigned a size or analyzed in any way. I've tried assigning them a size in the modeler tab, but they get re-assigned during design, deleting the user input size. Not sure why this is happening, but all of the joists should be getting designed (that is my intent at least). Any thoughts on this?
