The structure I am designing with RAM structural system is a 5 story building. The soil is a hard rock and when designing the foundation, I need to use steel piles for the foundation.
Is it possible to change the piles from concrete to steel? I only see the concrete option when in RAM foundation.

When pile cap foundations are used in Ram Foundation the user specifies the compression, tension and shear capacity of the piles. The user also specifies the diameter of the piles which, along with the pile cap optimization criteria, determines the geometry of the pile cap. The actual material for the piles is irrelevant to the program so long as the capacity and some equivalent diameter can be input.
