Hi,
does anyone already been design irregular shape column in staad, such as L-shape, T-shape and etc. Please shared your techniques how deal on it, as soon as possible I don't wanna ask help for the other programs software.

STAAD.Pro has been equipped with a quick and realistic solution to cater the need of engineers dealing with building industry. You can see the following mode has been added in STAAD.Pro to facilitate building modelling, loading and design of different elements.
This mode gives you flexibility to check quickly the suitability of the columns and it further allows the users to convert the rectangular to flanged columns. The physical model created in this mode of STAAD.Pro can further gets converted to a normal .std file and it can be analysed from this mode. On finishing analyst, one can simply go back to Building Planner mode and get the access to design structural elements to design STAAD RCDC- a software specifically extensively used to design, detail of structural elements and it has the capability to provide BBS and BBQ.
