RAM Steel Beam module not using studs

If the beam is acutely skewed to the deck you can have that problem. You'll find details here:

You can always use the Assign - Ignore Rib Spacing... command to circumvent that issue.

I encountered the same problem. My beam is parallel to the deck. Sometimes, it works normally. After another 'Design All', it can be wrong like this again. Once I choose another section or manually input the number of studs, the number of studs returns to 0. 'Ignore Rib Spacing' option does not help at all. How can I deal with it? Is that the problem of the new version of Jun 2016? When I use the last version, I never find this problem.

I think you are encountering a new defect in RAM Steel 15.02.00.00 only. It affects girders when you use Design All, then View/Update and try to change the studs from the optimum. We are working on a solution, but if you have not done a lot of work since switching to version 15.02, then you might want to roll back to the 15.01 version.

Thank you for your fast response. I have another question. I can only find 15.02 and 14.07.01.01 versions on the download page(fulfillment center and appsnet.bentley.com/.../SearchResults.aspx ). How can I go back to 15.01 version?

Check your folder where you normally download installers in case it's still there. If you can't locate it I can put in on a Sharefile site and send you a link.
