First you have to define the wind intensity and exposures and next you have to apply the loads on the structure.

For wind intensity- in the General > Load page, go to Definition > Wind Definitions and click on Add. Provide the Wind Type Definitions. Now select the Wind type and click on ADD. If you are using IS875:Part 3 code to generate the wind load, you need to manually enter the height vs. intensity data. In the new dialog box, provide the wind intensity values against different heights and click on ADD. If you want to use ASCE code, use the generator tab for the same. For more details, go to section 5.31.3 of technical reference manual.

To apply the wind load on the structure, create a new primary load case and click on Add > Wind load option. Select the Exposed surface, Direction and factor. You can provide the ranges to apply the wind load on the structure. You need to create two separate load cases for two different directions. For more details, go to section 5.32.12.3 of technical reference manual.

RE: PV Solar panel wind analysis in STAAD

yes sir, how to do wind analysis in staad

RE: PV Solar panel wind analysis in STAAD

You have not stated what information you need.
