RAM Connection CE - No connections could be assigned

Question

When attempting to assign connections in RC (version 11.0.0.177), I get a message like this anytime I try to assign a connection: 
 [Error] No connections could be assigned to joint "Node(214) - Column(417) - Beam(211) - Beam(212) - Brace(443)" [Information] Internal design error in the connection. Please contact technical support 
 Any ideas as to how I can troubleshoot this issue?

I can reproduce the problem with the CBB_SP type. I'll have to report that to development. Meanwhile, you can assign the CBB_DA type to the joint, then drill into the connection and change the "Connection type to column" from Angles to Single plate in the gusset to column interface and also in the beam to column interface.

 If you have a brace there, be sure to assign a gusset type base plate. The brace needs to be between 20 and 70 degrees and the column a plumb W or HSS shape.
