Hi guys,
Is it possible assign manual lateral loading in Ram Structural System(Ram Frame), like wind load for irregular shape building. At the same time can apply automatic load combination together with the manually lateral load assign.
If can what is the best way?

Could you explain that a little more? I have a steel-framed podium with 3 stories of wood that I'm trying to model, and I need to be able to apply the significant seismic hold-down forces from the wood shearwalls to my moment frame beams below. Like IronMax, I'm not seeing how to apply lateral system loads in the Modeler, or how to get Ram Frame to recognize point loads from Modeler as seismic or wind loads. Thanks.

I like to model something to represent the structure above, a soft moment frame for each wall usually works best, that way I have things in the model to select for elevation views, and nodes to apply nodal loads to.
I'd actually read through that one looking for how to add seismic loads manually, but I didn't see anything in there about about that. Did I miss it?
That's interesting using the moment frames to model the walls above. We'd used the Ram Shearwalls to try to account for them, with the properties adjusted to semi-match wood shearwalls. I suppose we could adjust the stiffness of moment frames to match the shearwall displacement from our wood software, and the frame columns would be more like a hold-down load path. But still, how would I specify the nodal loads once I had nodes available?
Never mind! I found another response of yours from 2014 where you explained that nodal lateral loads could only be input in Modeler in an elevation view. That's what I was missing! Thanks!

Right, a lateral wall or a moment frame could work. I like the frame because it can be really flimsy.
