Hi Forum,
I am designing shear wall. While defining wall panel and run the staad it shows
"WARNING- One or more lines are too long and will be split into 2 lines.
Please suggest me a solution.
Thank you

In STAAD.Pro input, there are 2 options: 72 character width and 79 character width . Go to Command >> Miscellaneous >> Input Width option.
So the command line is restrict to either 72 or 79 characters. If your command line goes beyond this (72 or 79 characters) the remaining characters are shown in light grey (in staad editor). To incorporate a command line more the 72/79 characters you need to find a suitable place to split the command line and use the staad continuation character to tell the program the command continues on the next line, the character is:
-
An example of a combination load case which was too long for a single line would be:
LOAD COMB 101 IN SERVICE LOADS IN -Z NO BERTHING1 1.154 2 0.097 3 -0.75 4 1.154 5 0.097 6 -0.75 7 1.0 15 1.0 23 1.0 27 1.0 -42 1.0 43 1.0 46 1.0 50 1.0
LOAD COMB 101 IN SERVICE LOADS IN -Z NO BERTHING1 1.154 2 0.097 3 -0.75 4 1.154 5 0.097 6 -0.75 7 1.0 15 1.0 23 1.0 27 1.0
42 1.0 43 1.0 46 1.0 50 1.0
Where the - on it's own is the continuation character.
Alternatively you can also go through the following link where the same is discussedhttp://communities.bentley.com/products/structural/structural_analysis___design/f/5932/t/95860
Thank you.
