In Limcon Bolt Strength calculation in connections seems giving higher than usual AISC 360-05 procedure. In AISC formulation is 0.75*Fn*Ab. But if you apply same in Limcon results are not consistent. Is there any problem or what is the reason for this.
in my calculation 84.4 kN is 78.4 kN. Why there is difference. 0.75*520 (for A490M) * Ab (201 mm^2 for M16 bolt)
In AISC 360-10 table J3.2, for A490X bolts, Fnv is 579 MPa. It was 520 in the 2005 edition of the manual, however.
