1.) How to make multiple live loads (line loads in application) with different names in RAM SS so when I make a load combinations I can manually pick them individually?
2.) Related to question 1, is it possible to do(input) Wind Loads (line load) manually? Can you please direct me if these questions have been in existence here. Thank you
In Ram Modeler the live loads are either part of the main live load case (reducible, unreducible and storage type loads) or part of the roof live case (roof or snow) only. You can't force the program into having more distinct live load cases.
Wind loads can only be entered as story forces or as nodal forces. We don't have a way to input a lateral line load. If you can simplify that to nodal forces on frames, then enter that in Modeler - Frame Elevation views. If a single diaphragm force will work, then those are defined in Ram Frame under Loads - Load cases.
