RAM Frame Seismic Provisions - Required Strength Failure SCBF Column

I assume we are talking about AISC 341-10 Section D1.4a(2) and the program column design report which indicates a load combination force next to a capacity in tension and compression. I tested it quickly with version 15.02 and I am seeing logical capacity values, even for a very slender column. I might need to see your model (and please confirm the version). OK, your image came through now, and I can see it's v14.07. I am definitely not getting that behavior in 15.02. If you send the file I can quickly confirm if it's something about your file, or something that changed in the program.

Thank you for your input on this issue. I have recently created a new similar model in v15.02 and still receive the same error so I uploaded the file for your review. Any thoughts as to why this is occurring would be appreciated. Thanks again for the help!

I just ran your file, "SCBF Model with seismic error.rss", using the latest version 15.04.  The warnings I get for most of the lower level frame columns are:

This is triggered by having some of the adjacent framing not assigned any frame type. If all members are assign the SBCF frame type those warnings go away. I never get the original error you noted, however. I went back to version 15.03 and the results were the same. Are you able to update your version to the latest?
