Bridge superstructure load rating

they are AASHTO design. I would really like to be able to use one software for many things. I will really appreciate your guidance.

I have attached a std file with moving load generation using a HS20 truck ( modified the Example 12 ). You can find more details on moving load generation as part of Help > Contents > Application Examples >  American Examples > and refer to Example 12. The corresponding .std file can also be located within C:\SProV8i SS6\STAAD\Examp\US folder.

In this example, there is no deck but in my project the deck has 7 inch thickness. Should I use a plate or not ( Plate/Generate surface meshing)?
