Its being really amazing to have a software like Staad pro and RAM connection and thanks a lot to Bentley for coming up with such great ideas to provide engineers a great support in their work.
I am an engineering student while doing the project in Staad pro I found some bugs in it even in the latest connect series version, for now I am going to mention one such bugs:
1. While designing RCC building I at first successfully able to design the building in much less time and many many thanks to Bentley team once again. Now after designing the building the at first attempt I thought to be more economic I should try one again by reducing the sections by small amount and check whether the section passes at lower section properties, I tried this process several times and I finally come up with a conclusion that their is a bug in Staad pro: if one section passes in a design then it is quite hard to fail that section even at lower property dimensions unless it is with very much lower property i.e. it is quite impossible to design a structure in staad pro which would be economic in all aspect.
Example: I was designing G+4 RCC building and it must be familiar to all that in practical case a column dimension must be at least 300x300 mm as per Indian practical construction work as per the circumstances but when I was reducing it to 200x200 mm to check whether it passes it passes which should be quite impossible to bare a load of G+4 building I tried the similar process several times and found the section is showing failed in 150x150mm which is quite impossible I mean it should have failed before.
We need to investigate this issue in details. So can you please upload the model (.std file).

This error comes out to each and every column members but the .std file that I am attaching here I tried with members 45 and 191 the member in 1st attempt passes at 500x500 mm but after it passes to make it more economic I tried to reduce the section a bit and now it even passes at 250x250mm and I believe it is quite impossible to accept the passed member at 250x250mm. Generally I noticed that all passed column member show failure output at 150x150mm.
I will be highly obliged if you look into the issues that I am facing at a daily basis.STAAD FILE - 1 Copy.std
