Hi,
Twice in a span of two days now, RAM Concept gave me an error while I tried to save a model. A message pops up saying "An error has occurred" while I try to open this file. I tried to use the back-up files generated by Concept as well, but they give out the same error while I try to open them. While I can still open a back-up copy (not generated by Concept) of this file which I had made initially, the most recent file seems to have gone corrupt.
The current version I'm using is RAM Concept CONNECT Edition Update 1 - Version Number 6.1.0.
Has anyone come across a similar situation of files going corrupt?
Thanks!
Hi Seth,
Thanks for the swift reply. That is the exact same error that is popping up when I try to open the model. Also, I had imported a dwg, file which has hatched areas - so i guess that confirms the reason for the error.
It'd be interesting to know if the file is recoverable at all. I am trying to attach the back-up file(.bak1) but its just reading it as an image file. Is there something different I need to do to attach the file?
Thank You,
Rohit.
Our developers have implemented a fix, at least to prevent future file problems. It will come out with version 6.02 very soon. If your backup file is also corrupted, please send it over (Secure File Upload) so that I can see if the new version can help (it's a long shot for existing files with problems though).
