I'm currently doing a load run down using numerous RAM Concept floor plate models. It's a large project (~300 columns per podium/basement floor).
I've created a spreadsheet such that you can dump the column reaction data from each floor plate model and it will collate and cumulate the loads down the building. This relies on every model being in the same position - so I've positioned the Grid A1 at the origin. Therefore columns are identified solely by their location in each model.
Is there a better way to 'identify' each column. Note that some columns are double height and don't support every floor. Therefore each model will have a different "Column ID" as assigned automatically by RAM Concept?
Secondly, is there a way to quickly copy and paste data straight from the program? Exporting, saving, opening text files for both dead and live load tables for every floor is extremely tedious. Furthermore, can RAM Concept interact with VBA so I could potentially make this whole process completely automated? That would be nice!!

The RAM Concept team is currently working on a database project that will output information to tables and read information from tables back into the program when the project is completed. The new features will not be included in version 08.01.00, which will be released soon, but will be rolled out in phases over in the next releases.
