Is there any way to remove releases from specified beam using OpenStaad?

Go to OpenSTAAD Help and see "Property.CreateMemberReleaseSpec" and "Property.AssignMemberSpecToBeam". I tried it and it seems there is a bug in the Assign function. Regardless of the argument I pass the function for the spec number it always assigns it to the first release spec in the list. Also, setting all releases to zero makes for a fairly clunky result in that it actually makes an empty release spec. These functions are not cool.

Thats what I did too. And after the emty release has to be deleted manually. Not such an elegant solution.

Nope, pretty crappy. I found out why I it was always assigning the beam to the first release spec in the list. I hadn't declared the variable that tells it which spec to use. I figured I could get away with using a variant, but I figured wrong. That's what I get for being lazy.
Back to the original question, they need to add a function that just clears out the member releases of a member.
