Is it possible to change allowable stress value manually in Ram concept

Hi Support Team,

please advice if I can change allowable tensile stress manually in Ram concept  . Ie in case of small different  in tension stress so it will be east to modify the allowable stress to match that different

and  I have a suggestions that I feel would benefit most RAM Concept users.

It would be very handy to have an option to set the elevation of a tendon profile point to 'mid depth.' Similar to the other current options, a user would not have to continually changed this depth as concrete element depth changes. Almost all anchorages profile points will be mid depth (unless pan stressed).

  • You can change material properties in the Criteria - Materials screen. I'm not sure what code you are using to be sure which allowable you are talking about, but if it's the allowable top or bottom stress for post-tensioned slabs, then no, that cannot be user set. You can use the section analysis plots to quickly review the peak stresses if that helps.

When using tendon parameters to define the post-tensioning, the default elevation is mid depth. You only need to define span and support profile polylines where you want another elevation.
