When modeling the lateral seismic loads on a mat, we calculate the resultant of an assumed triangular pressure under the base of a transformer and apply the load as a linear load in Foundation Advanced. However, we noticed that the load was not applied to the plate elements unless the beginning and ending points coincided with the plate nodes. Please review and advise.
For Line Loads, please ensure that you generate the plate mesh after the line load is added. This would enable the software to align the plate nodes along the applied line load and it should accounted for. If you still face problems, please zip the model and upload it and I will take a look.
