Is it possible to get story shear at each floor levels in Staad if floor diaphragms are not defined?

RE: Story shear at each floor

Dear Mr Sye

My floor levels are as below 3.6 and 7.2,I defined the floor height as below *Floor height *3.6; 7.2, but in staad output there are a many floors (30 floors) between 0 and 3.6 / between 3.6 and 7.2

thank you

RE: Story shear at each floor

You may use the SET PRINT 17 command in the input command file as shown next

The analysis output file would then list the shears at each story on a mode by mode basis. You need to manually combine (SRSS) the shear values for each mode to arrive at the final shear value at each story.

Model you attached is static.
I am performing modal response spectrum analysis for boiler steel structure. Floors are idealised as flexible. In that case without defining floor diaphragm in Staad model, is there any way to get story shear at each floor?

Regards,
