BCF - Seismic provision - max bolt Gage?

 As per AISC 358; tab 6.1 , max bolt horizontal distance (gage) is for 4E BCF connection is 152mm, while RAM reports 178.8mm which is beam flange width?

AISC 358 Section 6.9.1 indicates, "The gage, g, is as defined in Figures 6.2 through 6.4. The maximum gage dimension is limited to the width of the connected beam flange." Furthermore, commentary C6.9 repeats this as the limit. Is your interpretation that the Max Gage = MIN(table 6.1 value, beam flange width)?
