3D Rendered View

Hello Everyone,

When viewing my model in 3D rendered view it usually comes up with certain specific color codes for particular items but I find no such option to modify these colors as per users for example if I want to view my model in 3D rendered view with all same materials of a particular color of my will or I may use some specific color of different items of all of identical type such that they can be easily identified in 3D rendered view, though I found the color changing option in only available for background or even in modelling mode.

Is this possible to change colors in 3D rendered view as per users will in STAAD.Pro?

  • I don’t think there is any way to change colors for entities for the 3D rendered view but here is what you can do.

Go to View > Set Structure Colors and set the colors for the Structural Entities as explained in the picture below

Subsequently you may right click the mouse on the graphics screen and choose Labels and apply the settings as shown next to get a full section view with your defined colors.
