Hello every one ,I would like to model a one way slab in staad pro by using plate loads not floor load because I am modelling 2D model, I have tried many boundary condition in one way like two parallel edge beams and four edge beams slab but each one give me different results in moments when i compare it to theory of distribution of moment of one way ( which assume he large moment must be in short direction).

One way type load distribution can only be applied through the FLOOR LOAD option. If you are modeling the slab as plates and applying the load on the slab as a pressure loading on plates, the load distribution will be in both directions as plates are two way elements. Moment values would be comparatively higher along shorter direction ( stiffer ).
