I have one question when applying wind load according to ASCE 7-10 using automatic staad pro wind generator on steel hangar ,
first, i notice that the force that acting on roof in wind ward direction, didn't perpendicular on the frame

RE: generate wind load using staad pro as ASCE

STAAD.Pro does not automatically generate wind loading on the roof. Please refer to my post in the following thread for more discussion on this topic

communities.bentley.com/.../359851

For generating wind loading on side walls, first ensure that you are defining a separate Wind Type and choosing the Side Wall option for that to first have the software calculate the pressure vs height data for the side wall.

You may then apply the wind loading to the side walls using the appropriate wind direction and also the RANGE options to apply the loading on the appropriate face. Please note that to get the software to apply the wind loading simultaneously on the windward, leeward & side walls you need to include all of these loading types as separate load items within the same wind load case. Any manually calculated roof loading due to wind, would also have to be added as part of the same wind load case.
